  • Well Done Board

They have in my view done a very decent job shifting on the deadwood in the space of 12months as many thought the last prem squad would be a noose around our neck for many years to come sitting and seeing out there contracts.

Very glad that our lessons were learnt early in the boards reign so they can now go forwards stronger and wiser. Even the players who were on big contracts and have stayed (Green and Booby etc) have had wages reduced

Well done all involved keep up the good work

Agree they have not gone crazy but have backed the manager to the hilt. Also totally agree that after 50 odd failed transfers - on any profit or loss calculation - they have insisted on deals that cd actually see us recouping money rather than chucking it down the drain. Mark hughes had the audacity to claim he wasnt backed by the board, which joey barton v rightly hauled him up on. Harry has been given the tools. No excuses now. Go out and deliver us prem league safety.

Depends how much they paid out - I suspect it the case of Cesar it was quite a lot! Not sure why we didn't move him last season. Green and Bobby signed new contracts - I have no idea about Green's wages, and Bobby wasn't exactly in a strong negotiating position considering how poor he mostly was first time around. I'd be more inclined to wait to the accounts from our first year back in the PL are released to let you know if they're doing a good job or not.

This board back their managers. We've done very well this window and a lot of that is down to Harry and his staff. Whatever people think about Harry, he's a football man through and through and knows players.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

To be honest (imo) TF has thrown more money that I ever would've. If I had say 100 mil.....would I throw most of it on our club and take a gamble to turn us into a long term force. No way, not with my own family to think of. And he weren't even a hoops fan!!!!

I think we forget how lucky we are sometimes and forget how brave he has been with REAL money.

Cannot argue with any of the above. Seems strange to be starting a new season in the premiership and even the most pessimistic of our posters are struggling to dampen our enthusiasm.
