  • Real Sociedad ramp up pursuit of Granero

Real Sociedad will this week ramp up their pursuit of QPR midfielder Esteban Granero, according to sources in Spain.

The Basque club had him on loan last term and they want him again for the forthcoming season, despite the fact a serious knee injury restricted him to only four league appearances.

At least he's prepared to take a wage reduction for regular football at a club he's happy at: http://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/sport...teban-7390393?

                Granero

Another offer from Sociedad is on table, yet it's a loan deal. Thoughts?

Personally, I'd keep him. I think he could do alright for us and will be a decent squad player. If a permanent offer come in, I'd consider it but as for a loan deal, I don't really see the point unless they're paying a decent loan fee and cover all of his wages.

Won the yoyo test today according to the clubs social media accounts. Absolute beast of a run that, fair play to him.
