Yes, I read that Tavares was given a "mixed" reception from the homecrowd.

Toronto Maple Leafs are also OK, not sure why they don`t play better. John Tavares was a great signing, but I believe you should have gone for Zuccarello also.

On a sidenote; have you seen St.Louis Blues live??
Wage cap made it Impossible to get Zucc and Tavares.
Got to admit, I was impressed with the hostile reception The Islanders gave Tavares last night, was almost a football style atmosphere in New York.

Been giving this alot of thought, I respect your choice of team, and St.Louis are not a bad little team.
However, I believe The Leafs should be every Rs fans NHL team of choice.
Play in Blue and White, are currently pushing through their youth, and have not won a major trophy since 1967.
St.Louis Blues, has a slight hint of Chelsea about it. The Blues

    Now 11 straight wins!
I almost posted just before Christmas that they were done for this season, and would drop down the league in an attempt to get a good draft pick next season and then a total rebuild over next 3 to 5 years.
I guess that young goalie has turned around their poor early season form.
Not gonna lie, losing in OT last night sucked.

Unlucky last night, McDavid held his cool on that pen.
Now Nylander has signed for Toronto and Matthews is back, we should see Toronto's true potential over the next few weeks.
