I certainly won't be calling for holloway s head after this result,he is doing a decent job considering he has had no money to spend.I can't understand why he keeps playing Mackie ,as he is utter shite but that apart let's remain positive,we have a 9 point gap and 2 weeks to recover

Said it before, Mackie runs about a lot. That's it. He offers nothing else. Washington is a younger Mackie, runs a lot, scores a few. It's a bad day at the office today. We go again against Villa.

I hate to put a damper on your expectations but I don't think we will finish in the play offs

                • Our midfield was tired. Luongo was closed down every time he got the ball. They knew very well how to play us tactically.

                    • Everything we did was just so off tonight.

                      - Looked slow and unfit
                      - Constantly mistimed headers
                      - Poor passes
                      - Couldn’t mark our man (especially on the wings, my god)
                      - No desire to push forward

I honestly think Lynch was our best tonight. That’s how poor we were, ####ing LYNCH is going to get my MOTM vote.

Obviously if we had millions to spend we could bring in a striker in january but we don't so have to make do with who we have, but Mackie is like that chocolate teapot

We lost 3-0 and you think a striker is the issue? Sylla with Smith off bench is fine. Think defence is main issue plus physicality in midfield

                            • Andy Sinton pointed out shortly before they scored their first that they changed their formation due to the way we were bossing the game for the first 10 minutes. And let's face it, from the moment that went in there was only one team in it.
It was crying out for a change of approach, but as usual, none came until half time once they had scored the inevitable second goal.

If only we had a manager who could see the obvious and adapt, rather than blindly persist with what doesn't work.

Really needs to stop the pointless exercise of trying to turn the likes of Bidwell into a wing back, simply so he can play with the one system. Just play to a system which gets the best out of each player and therefore the team as a whole. We are absolutely dreadful up front because of it.
