I received the devastating news that one of my best QPR friends and someone who was a regular on this site, Ben Harrington has died on holiday. (bennyboyr''s). I spent many away days with him and will never forget the laughs we had. The day we made up the Buzsacky song was a great day plus the matchdays up in the qblock> More than that he was a honest, caring person who would say what he felt. Obviously its too early regards funeral arrangements but i will keep people posted.

He will be missed by friends and family. Too young to pass away.

Hi Pete, also just heard the news like many fans on here.I don't come on here as much and one of the main reason for me coming on here, was to talk to Benny.I never met up with him at a game, bit he did me a couple of favours a few years back, like it appears, with other QPR fans

I'm not a regular poster but do read this forum daily and read many of the posts that BennyBoyRs wrote.

Without knowing Ben personally it upset and shocked me to hear of his passing. My sincere condolences go out to his family, friends and fellow R's at this sad time.

Sometimes there are more important things in life than football. RIP.

Really sad news and Benny was a regular of this message board for many years.

Seemed a good guy, how long ago was this? He seemed to stop posting ages ago but a real QPR fan and a dedicated one at that. We all you to tease him about his Ginger hair and he also gave good banter back. RIP and very sad if true.

Was absolutely gutted when lone phones me earlier about this.
Got some quality memories from home and away days with Ben ending up on stupid benders, even starred in the 4 Year Plan alongside him!
Gotta have a good drink for him against the scum, exactly what he'd have wanted. Would probably have appreciated sacrificing one of the *******s for him!
If anyone gets the funeral details off of his brothers can you PM them or post them up please.
