    For those of you lads that knew old Fred he passed away last week, a true rangers legend who will be sadly missed, when i know the funeral arrangements i'll let you know in case you want to attend

    Sad news indeed. Fred was in his 90’s and was QPR through and through.

    I had the privilege of sitting next to him in the Upper Loft these past few years and I’m going to miss his company and the stories he told about the old players etc. He could tell you about the old times as if they were only yesterday.

    It was a fitting accolade to him that he won the Supporter of the Year at the end of last season.

    He had been sick for a while and hadn’t been to a game this season. It’s such a shame I never had a chance to say a proper goodbye.

    Let me know when the funeral takes place and I’ll try to get along.

                  For those interested, his funeral is at Watford Crematorium at 14:40 on Monday the 5th October.

                  There is a request for any Rangers Fans to wear their Blue and White Hooped shirts.

                  It was a shame to see his empty seat yesterday but it felt that he was there in spirit.

                      he's being buried on his birthday, he would have been 96, i spoke to him just before he become ill and his memory was still as sharp as ever

                        Thats very very sad news about Fred .... I spoke with him only a few times, he was a real gent .... a decent person, and loved QPR. I will try to get to Fred's farewell in Watford. Very sad news indeed.
