  • WATRB Man of the Match competition news

Firstly, we have decided to make the competition a bit more fair with regards to the players who get the second largest number of votes. In each match, starting from the first game of this season, the vote winner gets 2 points and the runner(s)-up get 1 point.

Secondly, the MOM competition winner will get a WATRB award and the ceremony will (not necessarily ) take place at the Savoy Ballroom and it will be (almost certainly) filmed and uploaded to our website. Furthermore, towards the end of the season we intend to have a lucky drawing so that one poster, whose favourite player wins our season's MOM title, can hand over the award!

What awards have you given in the past, and is it something the player would want to keep? And how about running suggestions for one

No this is a new thing, we are in the process of choosing something appropriate. Life-size signed cardboard cut-out of Pete maybe ... or maybe not
