How come its only played for seven weeks?

Its only the first round that is 7 weeks long.

The season is seperated into several rounds so that new players have the chance to join in at a point where we all technically start from 0 again, and players that haven't scored as well as they hoped, or missed a week or two, get another chance instead of dropping out. There is still a total cumulative score for whole season, but to have regular comps for prizes during the season where we all start from scratch is more fun.

The first round was 7 weeks because there was only 2 weeks of games in August, so it got added to September for 2 prizes. Next month will be round 2 and only a 4 week long comp.
