  • 5 weekend bankers comp. (w/e 15th sept)

Low scoring weekend last week with some strange results. Will M is now leading, but its all closed up a bit at the top, so many still in with a chance. Everyone is welcome to play along.

Prize's for the TOP 2 are:

    The Four Year Plan DVD
£10 Gift Voucher for club store
    Goal Net Scarf
Hooped Dreams Book by Mick Kelly

For this weekend, as before we are choosing our banker wins from all four divisions of the english leagues, and the simple instructions are:-

    1. Choose your 5 winning teams for this weekend (add reserves in case your games are called off). One point scored for each correct prediction

    2. Indicate your best banker as *NAP* for double points

    3. Predict the total number of goals scored by your 5 teams for a bonus point.

So total of 7 points available.

There are only 2 weekends of football for august, so for the first sub competition its maybe a good plan to also include september for a 7 week total points game.
    Current table:

If you see any errors let me know, and good luck

Gerry, what is the fascination of the Goodwood revival as i only live a few miles away and there,s hundreds of people about down here, much more than the norm.
Only moved down here 9 months ago from the smoke, so no idea what it is.

Needless to say everyone talking about it as traffic is nightmare.

If you're a petrolhead like me, goodwood festival is fantastic. The revival is motorsport from the past, no computers and traction control, its proper noise and smell from an age now gone, and beautiful very expensive racing cars. Hotels add a nought to their price for this week and still sell out a year before. We're staying at a hotel near Southampton for the w/e, theres 4 of us, nearest we could get.

If you think traffic is a nightmare now, you wait til friday and sat morning. :evilish: Maybe next year you could offer us B & B ?
