  • QPR win the race for the DJ

QPR look to have won the race to sign Leicester City FC striker DJ Campbell, according to reports.

Sky Sports claims that the in-demand striker will sign for Jim Magilton's ambitious side after an unhappy spell at the Walkers Stadium.

The 27-year-old is not part of Nigel Pearson's plans for the new season - and has been strongly linked with a move to Coventry City FC.

However Campbell, who spent the second half of last season in the Championship with Blackpool, scoring nine league goals from 20 starts, now looks set to move to money-bags Rangers.
