    Will he stay or will he go? Personally I hope the former.

    I'm not sure he can cut it. He will give it his all, and he is highly motivated to do well, but realistic he did not play in the first team last season and regrettably he may come up short. Kind of person to prove us wrong though.

      I think this is a real shame. Would have loved to see him as part of the backroom staff. How can you go from caretaker manager back to a bit part player? Strange decsion by Gaz, if it was his decision :confused:
      Can't see him lasting long as a QPR player this season, loan beckons me thinks :very_sad:

          Let him go to Barnet.Were in trouble if Ainswoth gets near the first team.
          Great servant let him go and enjoy a last year or two of his playing career

            dont know why he wasn't given bircham's job. i mean, birch is a great character and all that but hardly one likely to impart great technical knowledge.
