                    shows ambition but sadly the ambition needs to be placed into a striker!!!

                    hope the lad does well, 3.5m isnt that a new record fee paid for us?

                    unless our board have decided to go for it i dont expect us to sign anybody near a mil for this summer unless dex, legs, buz or whoever is sold to make more money.

                        Agree, with wanting a striker but this tells me something.

                        3.5 million for a midfielder, does show we are not going to blink about paying thr right money for the right striker.

                        A signing like this will really put the rest of the players on their toes.

                          Wow. Yep def a club record if true, tho presumably it will be staggered. We should also take into a/c that times article pete filed the other day - sometimes it suits clubs to exaggerate the amount. Still, great news, should put some smiles back on our faces.
