  • Big signing needed now!

fans are disillusioned with the board, over the long drawn out saga that was the appointment of Jim magilton, and lack of money spent. The board are throwing spin around like confetee("feel good factor is back","back log of ticket applications","incredible amount of manager applications and more crap like that),and now they expect you to part with your hard earned money and purchase season tickets, based on all that.NOW,more than ever before they need to make a big signing, not a loan or a freebe, but spend £1-2 million on a striker or attacking player who will please the supporters,THEN maybe the board might start selling the season tickets, but spin alone wont work, they need to spend NOW:shame:

Hard to see how anyone can possibly disagree with that.We MUST sign a proven goalscorer.

Looks like they will only learn the hard way. A manager which has dissapointed many + lack of spending on transfers + non stop changing managers + over priced tickets = pushing fans away, and less income for them. Start turing a few of those the other way round, and fans may see a bit more value in spending their hard earned cash and will return to Loftus Road

Agree 100% - It amazes me that there still seems to be a number of Briatore fans amongst our posters. The man has been toying with our emotions and passion for the club since day one.Amidst all the fireworks and fanfares announcing the EXCITING NEW ERA in the history of QPR,he increased the prices, moved 300 of us from our cherished seats, cosseted his cronies in lavish corporate areas at our expense, all on the back of false promises. His transfer fee capping policies and reliance on loanees supurfluous at their own clubs and freebie journeymen,is laughable, and he cannot be serious about the so called "ambitions" of the club.Wolves spent many years frustrating the pants off their fans. They at last got it right last season when they realised they had to speculate to accumulate. They spent a few bob on astute aquisitions and can now look forward to reaping the financial dividends - £60 MILLION QUID. As Qblockpete said recently £2m on a stiker like Beckford or Cox and say £1m for Lita,is NOTHING in the whole scheme of things. We are a month away from the pre-season friendlies and something should be done NOW to ease our cronic lack of goals. We have the basis of a very good team - all thats missing is a DECENT STRIKER OR TWO.WAKE UP FLAVIO.

But why let facts and compassion stand in the way of a good moan about it :(

In that case Walkonby, I withdraw my moan and wish him the best.

(Though still think if he has identified his targets the sporting director might be looking a bit more lively, or is he still chomping pasta in Naples?)
