  • So, what now for Gaz???

If he's not part of Madge's plans then we surely need to have some kind of testimonial game for him??

to be honest i think the board would have stated that they want Gareth to stay in the coaching set up when they interviewed Jim

Still has a year left on his playing contract and 1 year left on the staff too. JM will bring in a No.2 and another coach but I'm sure GA will stay on in some capacity. Others have been sniffing about but I doubt he'll go anywhere as he loves it at LR.

Be a shame not to see Gaz on the bench though

I'm sure he'll stay at some capacity, if not as a number two then as reserve team boss.

I asked the same on another mb a little while ago.

Ainsworth has strong links with the club and is liked by many players and fan. He should stay on and be helped with his coaching badges and given more experience with managing the reserves and youth set-ups.

In a few years time he might be ready to take over as a manager at the club.
