IMHO you missed Option C:
Ramage --- Gorkss --- Stewart --- Connolly

That was going to be my reply as well.

I think Stewart deserves to be in the back four more than Delaney, and Ramage gives more effort and better attitude than Delaney, IMO, and improved a lot in the latter half of the season.

Option A for me Stewart had a good season but for me he is still a liabilty, time for Connolly to step up. Connolly has has great experience playing across the back 4 now it's time to play alongside Gorkks. I'm sure within a couple of season's Connolly will be named club captain and does have the potential to be the same sort of player Alan McDonald was for the club. I wasn't sure about Connolly for a long time but he is now at the age where he must get games under his belt playing in the right position.
