  • Let Newcastle be a lesson to us

It should be a lesson to us the fans and also our board.

The decline started with the anger shown to the board. The board need to do their bit, but the fans must back the team fully.

      Could not agree more.

Sporting director should be moved back to chairman of the club
      Manager picks his own players
Board don't try and influence team selections
Board don't treat with fans as if they are all millionaires

Unity is a big thing and sometimes clubs underestimate the effect fans have. You need the right blend of players, not so much techincal ability, but have they got it? Fight, determination and the guts to get through it when the going gets tough. our fans are fickle, but thats football and players needs to raise above that. Should not be about pay cheques. If these players played with the passion, that the majority of supporters have for this club, we will not have a problem
