Ok as reported in the Paddington Mecury this week Curbs has a legal dispute with West Ham United.

    More details

Alan Curbishley must wait for his compo pay-off from West Ham United.

The Mirror says Curbishley faces a six-month wait to settle his payoff claim with West Ham.

The former Hammers chief has learned that his court case date has been set for November after the preliminary hearings ended without an agreement.

Curbishley is looking for around £3m from his former employers.

However this should not restrict him from at least talking to QPR.

Indeed he was sounded out for the Portsmouth job before they fired Tony Adams.

However is the set up at QPR right for Curbs?

At West Ham Technical director Gianluca Nani has been responsible for the club's transfer policy in conjunction with chief executive Scott Duxbury since being appointed in March.

This was clearly a major source of frustration to Curbishley and the League Manager's Association and complained about "the club's unilateral actions around player transfers, without reference to their manager".

    Sound familiar?

Anyway I'm not going to go on and on about Curbs (dont want to be accused of a campaign) but if he has met up with Gianni a couple of times and would be prepared to step down a division then he should be the clubs Number 1 priority.

He will not work with the rangers board no matter how much they offer him, he likes complete control , old school manager and you don't get that at QPR and he knows that.
