Interesting to see the different views in this thread. I would say sign him, because he's quality, but my fear is that the new Manager/Coach/Puppet would not want him, for whatever reason, and then we're back to the usual nonsense where FB is in the managers earhole to put him in the team.
Fact is, we need to get a Manager/Coach/Puppet appointed asap.
AND,of course, we need to let him actually DO the job

I would say no. He is not a centre forward and the fact we need 2 quality strikers the money should be used in that area. Vine can do a better job of the left.
