we shouldnt give a crap about other teams, we should worry about our own team, but we all know we wont improve the squad to promotion standard this season. The board wont spend.

Most of the teams listed however, will have money to spend and will be competing for players signatures.

If we are to buy players this summer, convincing them to sign may be trickier than normal if some of these clubs are interested.

True but we convinced Cerny because we got in early and offered him good terms. If players are uncertain of their futures they will want to move quickly if a deal is offered to them.

Difficult to judge how good teams coming down will be. Look at Birmingham. In my view they had a reasonable Premiershit squad and managed to keep most of it together. They should have been out of sight this year but have hardly wowed us. I would say that is down to a very average manager who may be up to the Mickey Mouse league in Scotland but not to the much tougher English leagues.

Derby were the worst team in Premiershit history and were never going to be more than mid-table with hopefully better next season once they have stabilised and licked their wounds.

Reading, like Birmingham, except I do rate Coppell. Surprised they have not secured automatic.

Other side of coin look at teams like Burnley, Bardiff and Preston all challenging and even bigger teams like Sheff Utd. None of those have gone overboard on spending. Just built their squads up, secured good managers and stuck with them.

The teams coming down all look great on paper but how well we do is in our hands.
