Yeah. You can't report a 3-2 result at 1:17pm for an 80min game that kicked off at noon.

              Trying to find the score....Found....

The game took place at Arsenal’s training ground, and is understood to have finished in a 4-3 win to Arsenal.

although it is still officially unknown who was on the scoresheet for both sides.

The Gunners’ team was said to be made up of a mixture of first-team and U23 players, with midfielder Miguel Azeez appearing to be included in the Arsenal squad, after posting a picture of his shirt on social media before the match.

Arsenal have no more official friendlies scheduled ahead of the start of the new season, although it is expected that the team will take part in more behind closed door games between now and the start of the season.

Goals from Kakay, BOS and Kane.

We had a trialist on the team so will be interesting to see what comes of that. Oteh played too as did Lumley.

QPR played a behind-closed-doors friendly game against Arsenal at their London Colney training ground on Tuesday afternoon, with the Gunners winning the match 4-3.

At the request of the hosts, the fixture wasn’t available for streaming.

Against a strong Arsenal line-up, Rangers took the lead with a stunning strike from Ossie Kakay before the hosts responded and moved into a 3-1 lead.

Bright Osayi-Samuel netted to reduce the deficit before Todd Kane hit a long-range effort to draw matters level.

Mikel Arteta’s men won the game late on.

Speaking after the match, Warburton said: “This was a really useful workout for both teams, and I would like to express my thanks to everyone at Arsenal for their hospitality.

“The application of the players was excellent and I was really pleased with the way we moved the ball against world-class opposition, and created chances.

“To have this sort of test is useful for the players because it tests them from a physical and tactical perspective.”

The match saw Rob Dickie make his first appearance for the club just hours after joining from Oxford United.

“Rob was really keen to play,” Warburton said, “and we were keen to have him involved.

“He got 60 minutes under his belt, he settled in very well and showed his quality on the ball.

“He had previously played three 45-minutes at Oxford, so this was further vital minutes for him.”

Rangers kick off their league campaign against Nottingham Forest on 12th September, but will start the 2020/21 season with a trip to Plymouth Argyle in the Carabao Cup this Saturday.

QPR starting XI: Lumley, Kakay, Dickie, Barbet, Wallace, Cameron, Tralist, Osayi-Samuel, Chair, Amos, Oteh

Play Kane up front, got the right moniker, so problem solved

Would be a good signing if his injury issues are behind him. Hopefully any contract would be based on the number of appearances just to cover ourselves

                              Where was our new striker?

Just talk, just a pre-season game/ warm up, but there does seem to be a glimmer of hope that the season may not be as dire as some might fear.
