Fighting for his life apparently after a bang on the head, rumours of drunken punch up.
Awful demise of a great player in his day

Really sad remember him well , still a good player when we got him , awful how some players can’t cope with retirement, just like gazza

The legend and intelligence of Nial Quinn tried and failed young 72bus. Very sad as I remember him well. Great player and very solid no nonsense player
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I remember him well and his goals for QPR.
i hope he recovers and gets the help he needs, but agree that he needs to want it.
Also agree, that some ex players really do find it difficult to cope when their playing career ends.
