  • Dear Mr Warburton

PLEASE DO NOT SELL THIS TEAM OFF.....
You just need to add to it , improve the positions that keep letting us down. For the first half hour of today’s game we played some of the nicest keep ball football I have seen for a long time. It’s good to see we have players that can control and pass the ball around , have confidence to do so and have pace in the right places. The youngsters are good and with some coaching this team shows promise. So go to the board, tell them we need a better keeper , a striker with passion and some better substitutes and let’s bomb on....

2 decent centre backs would make a huge difference. Stick Kelly in goal.

Send the lad from Brighton back or give him a run of games. Hugill and wells aren't under enough pressure for their places. Drop them for a few games and tell them to shape up or go back to the reserves at their parent clubs.

IMHO, the poor results of late are attributable to two things:

          (1) A lack of overall player quality
          (2) A style of play that fails to optimize the players we do have

Most agree Lumley’s been generally awful, our CBs too slow, and our strikers too inconsistent in finishing plays.

I figure like most that we need another season or two to upgrade, which unfortunately means selling Eze to afford 2-3 significant signings.

Yet what is worse, in the here and now, is thinking that passing the ball along the back line is what fans like or what this team does best.

WHEN, Mr Warburton, are you going to coach what Andy Sinton suggests nearly every game now: namely, to pick up the pace and play with urgency?

And when you attempt to console us after another loss by saying the players are angry, rest assured they are not alone.

The teamneeds to play with more urgency, cut out the playing out from the back and preferably with 2 strikers. Oh and a bit of defensive coaching and better more effective substations.

Do you think we are a club in a better place than the days of Ngongo, Dowie, Rose, morrow and Stuart Wardley. Now that was a #### team that couldn’t pass a ball about... the club has the same stature as in those days , No Money , players from loan or lower league , Warburton has the same barrel he is picking out of , but in most games we are getting into positions where we should be winning them.
The man has the right philosophy, his players are letting him down by switching off, dreaming of the big time , instead of gritting their teeth and working for 96mins
