    What a player.

Tough, great passing range, can boss a midfield and dictate play and does a lot of the sh!t work to allow others to play. Reminds me of Derry in our promotion season.

Brilliant acqusition by the gaffer. Loving this guy.

    Exactly like Derry Jimmy.
Practically everyone moaned about the signing, before he'd kicked a ball.
Rangers fans slagged him off......Scottish ones.
Well done the guy....Well done the gaffer, knew what he wanted.
Almost like he planned every signing...............Radical !!

Just shows you what great business we done in the summer to get a fee for Luongo and get this lad in for free is a stroke of genius. Are we missing Mass? Are we #####!!!!

Said the same yesterday mate. Hardly ever saw Luongo put his stamp on a game. This lad is doing it every week. Really does look like a smart acquisition.

Great signing. Almost like Warburton knows what hes doing....... Not sure we've had that for a while.

As for Mas? Nice bloke, but not getting a game at Wednesday. Says it all.

One poster on here said said Mass was worth 7 to 8 million and it was a disgrace selling our best players .I won’t name him but he hasn’t posted a lot last few weeks.

Personally think Mas is a decent player at this level. But certainly not 7-8m worth and his jet setting round the world results in him not being fit for half our games every season. Sad he's gone, but happy he's gone.

Ball was good y'day , broke up play always wanted the football ... Only saw him give it away once with a stray pass

Not digging him out but that Amos can learn a lot watching Ball.

To be fair to Amos they are totally different players .Amos is more creative and more likely to get a goal where Ball is more of a Derry like player that likes to break up the play and give it to Eze and Chair etc.

Like most players this season he was signed for a specific role, and was judged on what had been seen not on what he had done, and trained for that role.. This has been one of the strengths of MW and his backroom team this season.

That is exactly it and to me MW knows exactly how to build a team. Couldn't be a better fit for us. Most other managers I suspect we would be in bottom three. What the club achieved pre-season was nothing short of a miracle. As I have said elsewhere not expecting us to worry promotion spaces but a significant step forward.

Agree on the break up of play difference but once Ball wins it, he moves it quick and doesn't waste a pass. THAT is what Amos can learn and that is a big part of his attacking game.

absolutely agree with that. He has assembled a squad of players so that there is cover in all roles rather than some scatter gun approach that some previous managers did, especially that tool Hughes.
