  • Clubs being investigated

Just read Derby, Sheff Wed and Reading, along with Villa are all under investigation as to how they sold their grounds to comply with FFP.......just hope they all get found out for their clear flouting of the rules ! If they get away with it makes our fine all the more ridiculous.

Allegedly sold their grounds at an increased value to their owners, to bypass FFP, so estate agent values at 45 million but on books sale was 80 million as an example.

if they get away with it,shows how stupid our lot are not too of thought about it or done it.On other hand if they get done, how shrewd our owners were.

Great news, I find it so annoying we are the only club to get punished when others are clearly finding loop holes/spending beyond their means
            Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
            And many more mistakes

the spineless F.A & EFL will do nothing about it they'll be no fines or sanctions, what people need to remember is that they had it in for us over the us winning Faurlin saga., and the've had it in for us since and got us on FFP and then changed the rules the year after plenty of clubs have failed FFP rules since don't think any other club has been done, Nothing will come of this

What are Derby, Sheffield Weds and Reading going to do when they need more cash ? Can only sell the ground once...

Owner will gift it back to the club and then buy it again.

That's a joke but under the current rules it's perfectly feasible.

The Derby "sale" is preposterous. £85,000,000 for some Derby scrubland would mean KPF is worth £billions. The key aspect is preventing these scummy Chairmen from quietly transferring ownership back to clubs for peanuts. To be fair to Boro's Steve Gibson he's been raging about this for ages and threatening legal action against EFL if they don't bring these clubs to book themselves.

Birmingham had a points deduction that dropped them into a relagation battle (although still fairly safe from going down.).

It will be interesting to see what the outcome is. These clubs now need to hope and pray that the owners don't sell the grounds should they get bored or are in financial trouble later on.

perhaps they should have sold it under part ownership deal.
How much is the KPF ground worth and would a 25% sale help QPR clear all their debts and provide a healthy transfer/wage budget for the next 2 seasons?
