He’s ideal for how Millwall play but we don’t play like that so good luck to him and time we moved on.

Matt Smith is a goal scorer, kept us up under Hollow

he wouldn’t suit our team though
              Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
              And many more mistakes

                Agree with the above.
We play on the deck so he would be a plan B only. He wanted to play rather than warm the bench so best of luck to him. A true pro.

This is what people can`t understand. We have to move on now, I feel.

Bristol City played good football in League one and Matt Smith scored a lot for them and not all from high balls lumped into the box.

The problem for him with us is that he played under managers who thought he could only use his nut. Only have to look at his goal against Sheffield Wednesday to see he had more to him than that.

                          Because it's Millwall

I agree, but he was probably a bit more mobile in those days. However, he would have been good as a plan b, but perhaps he wasn't prepared to sit on the bench waiting to come on for the last 20 mins or so of each game.

I'm with you on this, I thought he scored some good goals with his feet. Maybe a little slow but he could score.
