I disagree. It's about a culture that was allowed to exits at the club and that extended to the fan-base. The owners, coaches, staff etc are the custodians of the clubs values and are accountable. It's not just those who committed the crimes who should be held accountable.

its not the club,it was a sign of the times in those days. Tv was very racist or smutty, bullying rife. class system in full flow hence why a lot of these stars got away with it. Public school system national service etc was rife with bisexual action. Benny hill show carry on etc, showed how pent up uk sex life was. Love thy neighbour showed how racist it was. The football club was not to blame ,society is was.

It is the club. Chelsea have a well earned rep for being a racist club.

I agree that the attitude was more open and prevalent, but it was the action of those who worked at the club at the time, representatives of the club. Chelsea have rightly held their hands up, people and institutes have to be made accountable.
