    Apparently Sheff Wednesday are the latest club to do this so be interesting to see what the Football League have to say about it

      They will do nothing , same when derby did it . It’s a loophole in the ffp rules that these clubs are using.

          Yup, couldn't even get a sponsor to stump up a £5m 10 year deal so that QPR didn't have to sell Freeman for less than that.

          Yes, it is a way of dodging FFP rules, but it is a short term policy. Maybe they are hoping to fund the side to win promotion and then buy it back.
