Blimey I've heard some crap over the years but all this no brainer talk about Crouch is just ridiculous. He's 38 FFS and hardly played for years because long past it. How exactly does that fit any sort of criteria for what we need to be a no brainer.

I understand your point, but QPR received a fee for Smith and Crouch would be free and the latter imo is better at holding the ball up and laying it off for teammates.

Having said that, I don't think Crouch will be joining QPR unless he is happy to accept a weekly salary of £10k or less.

They have measured him up and it a no goer,wages not a problem but the cost of changing door frames etc was too much
