Tho I agree it’s a little too late I do think he’s still got it & would be useful for 1 season
      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

we need a good footballer who can hold the ball up on the floor (and air if need be) for our very talented behind/off the striker players (chair, eze, smyth, bs etc) - he fits perfectly!

Don’t see the point of selling Matt Smith to replace him with an ancient crouch .

Oh, I appear to have duplicated this post. My deepest apologies to all.

Released by Burnley - can't be that expensive. Check.
He personally doesn't need the money. Check .
                He's a Ranger. Check.
He's a top bloke and has a heart. Check.

                Welcome home Crouchy.

They have measured him up and it a no goer, wages not a problem but the cost of changing door frames etc was too much

Don't see the point of selling Big Matt.
I thought Warbs was wanting mobile strikers?

That’s what I mean , why replace a striker that can’t run with an even older one that can’t run.

I understand your point, but QPR received a fee for Smith and Crouch would be free and the latter imo is better at holding the ball up and laying it off for teammates.

Having said that, I don't think Crouch will be joining QPR unless he is happy to accept a weekly salary of £10k or less.

Completely agree every word. My only concern though is Crouchy could make us
                              a route 1 team.
