I think Smith was quite frustrated last season because he didnt get much playing time.
I can see him off to Birmingham City. His dad played for them and hes a blues fan.

I agree that he does know how to score at this level, and is a good option for a plan B, but he is definately not a mobile player.
QPR will be lucky to get an offer of more than 300k for him though., In which case, unless a decent and cheaper replacement is signed, it sort of makes it pointless in selling him.

He is our most effective striker, but it was quite obvious from the day Warburton signed that he is not suited for the style of football we will play now. As much as I like Smith and think he has done well I fully understand this decision. We will likely get a moderate transfer fee and we will free up his salary meaning we can finance one or two other signings.Tags: None
