  • Interesting stat...

Just read that only 3 teams (Leeds, Brentford and Norwich) have had more shots at goal than QPR this year (2019), and that 12 teams have faced more shots at goal than us, including Norwich. Goes to show how #### poor our finishing has been, not just from the strikers but midfielders as well.
That's the story of our season though really, create 4 or 5 good chances, poor finishing means we can't hit a cows ass, and then opposition go down the other end and score with what's likely they're first shot. Not sure what any other manager can do to change this without signing a new squad

So much for Pinkies statement about us needing to go for it more in matches. Like you say, it’s not the attitude or tactics, more the lack of quality among our players.
We are going to struggle next season unless we address this.

One of the things we need to learn is to hit the target.

In defence as well, we've all probably noticed we will have 8 shots in a game, with 1 being on target and no goals. Whereas the opposition will have 2 shots, both on target and both goals. Lost count of the amount of times I've seen that this season. Not a great stat for Lumley either

Lol it doesnt exactly say much does it itso we sit off the opposition way too much and seem to be more scared of conceding, the fact we`ve had soo many shots smacks of desperation, especially when not hitting the target.

We have shots at goal but generally after we've had a pass too many and chance of scoring has gone
