  • What’s a new manager going to achieve?

The teams c.r.ap , were not allowed to spend / compete because of ffp . So whoever comes in can only try his best with what he’s got . Before getting sacked like the rest of em. The futures only going to get worse for us

We were just outside the relegation zone when Warnock was appointed. He kept us safe, spent just a few quid Mackie, Orr, free transfers Derry, Hill, Kenny and a few loans Adel, Walker etc

      The rest is history

in summary, a great manager will make all the difference!

look at cardiff, huddersfield, norwich, sheff utd etc. all of those teams have/had arguebly average players at this level but with the right manager all of them got promoted or are well in for a chance of it this season. they didn't spend big bucks getting out of this league but they got the best out of what they did have and signed players who made a difference along with a few bargains along the way.

i would love ainsworth here, or a foreign manager tbh. i don't want us to get an out of work english manager and all of the out of work ones we've been linked with have had mixed spells at various clubs.

we need someone who's either ready to step up with a good experienced cv or someone hungry to get into the english game, not a late 40s/early 50s manager using linkedin to find his next job because he's bored. our last appointments have all been like that and they didn't work, they were just band aids covering up a much bigger problem at the club
