trying to joke about the fact he cost us the tie less than 2 hours after the end of the match. Hugely unprofessional. Our “captain” . Missed an open goal. Defender or not you HAVE to score that . And then he goes and jokes about it? Pathetic . JN

Don’t forget the fact he’s been crap and rightfully dropped recently (although he played alright up to that moment yesterday) JN

It wasn't an open goal,it was a bad miss but he is a defender who got himself into a great position for the cross and he should have scored BUT it was NOT an open goal.
why do you continue to start these utterly stupid threads ????.

Making jokes about a bad miss? No, he was responding to some Twitter #### saying he hates Leistner.

Footballers get 100s of messages like that. But he chooses to respond to one in a joking way an hour after he misses an open goal to send us out ? Not for me . JN

Have to agree with bus and jn. Easier to score than miss but he's hardly renound for his composure
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Please stop calling one another names, it was an open goal but was travelling fast, maybe not as easy as it looked.

He’s a central defender and that ball fizzed across goal with plenty of pace. Plenty of forwards would have missed that so
cant blame him for missing. It was definitely no tap
                          in.

I was behind the goal and thought it was past the back post in real time and thought it was unlucky. Having seen the replay on tv it looks a poor miss.

There you go, but it didn't look easy as he was flying in and just wanted to make contact.

I've seen far easier goals missed than that. I am really gutted though even now.
