started a topic Lynch and Hall yesterday.

    Lynch and Hall yesterday.

Hall was badly to blame for two of those goals, yesterday. The unchecked run for their third when he tried to play offside and the free header from the corner. The first I put down to Lynch, but while he was turned, Lumley was way at fault having come out, failed to get back, and got his angles all wrong. Their fourth Scowen let Jota run. Slated Lynch yesterday, however. More sinned against than sinning, perhaps? Lol. Funny game, football.

Agree, and he probably can do so this season once Rangel is fit again.

I also agree that if the CM is poor then it doesn't help the defence. And yes, Lumley was largely to blame for the opening goal. He should have stayed back and lef Lynch deal with the ball.

There is a lot to be said about a CB partnership and understanding. That second goal (think it was the second where Adams rounded the keeper) was absolute evidence of 2 CB's who had no idea where the other was.

As things stands atm, even points at home are a bonus!

That was meant for the General.

odds on. Think he might make it, too. Defenders take time to develop. Always have.

Away from home our formation should be 4 -1 - 4 - 1 with Hall or Cameron in front of the shaky back four.
This formation away from home is aperfect formation in my opinion
Any points away from home are bonus points imho

Not saying he was good, only that Hall/ Lumley: Scowen was more at fault for the goals than him. Defence will always look creaky when CM is so s hit.

Ollie played him there a fair bit and from what I saw he was solid. Scowen is w@nk imo.

Pawel out right all day long, mind.
    Fully agree.

Yes, Furlong another CB option once Rangel is back too. Remember him playing very well there when Cousins was used at RB.

    77. The defence was less exposed with Cameron in the side. The 1st half pair were not in sync as one is on the halfway line and one om the edge of the area which means our attacks start deeper and when we lose the ball we get overun.
