But agree about his attitude cos he shot his bolt cos he'd had a couple of good games be it against poor opposition, but he thought he was the next big thing with his comments which tbh in the end has backfired on him.
Fair point mate, very different player to Mas. But at least he can knock the ball about a bit. Something that neither Scowen or Cousins seem to have in their locker.

Have to agree that Smyth and Manning appear to have been overlooked by SM. I also rate them both at this level, so can only assume that the manager has good reasons for it.

Not seen him but but if he's a passing playmaker he should be able to play off scowens , imo the fault of the cousins scowens combo is they don't play off each other both trying to do the same thing no understanding of each others game , many passing players don't do a lot of tackling ie the great Glen Hoddle , perhaps the cut and thrust of the championship isn't his game

Also, it was interesting to see SM showing his frustration with Cousins on Saturday after he placed another inaccurate pass, which lost us possession again. He ran into his technical area urging him to delay passing or hold on to it until there was an easier pass on.

Now that we've lost a game I wouldn't be surprised to see him break up this Scowen / Cousins combo.

Agree on this. Everyone wants that sort of mix in the middle....a sort of a Keane/Scholes or Vieira/Petit partnership.

Also agree on Goss. Got to be a Billy Big B*llox issue about him.
