  • Rowett - Former QPR managerial target

Under severe pressure to keep his job tonight.
Steve's steady hand was what we needed.
    Glad we have him

Only took 4 or so years to hire the right man
    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Horrible job he took at Stoke after our mate Hughes at had time there to really destroy what Pulis had created. We have a manager now who has improved us as a team and the players individually as well.

I wanted him too. Mind you he may not have failed here.
Just one of those things it seems to me, some places just
            don't work out, we've had about 10 that didn't!!

Considering the players are has at his disposal and zero money to spend McClaren is proving to be our best manager in years

Tried to use our job offer to get himself a pay rise at Brum, is the story I've heard. This in turn led to a fall out with the board, and his eventual departure about a month later. In footballing terms he would have been a far better appointment than Holloway, but I get the feeling Rowett is a real mercenary.

Hate the man. Always comes across as a bully amd know it all. Complains all the time and doesn't like being outdone by teams. Has no grace in losing.

It took me a while to figure out the syntax of your title Dave, but fully agree!

I assumed you meant 'target' as a verb, which gives it a whole new meaning

And those that slate Les for his choice of Managers are more than likely the ones that wanted Rowett or Clemence.
