  • Luke Freeman signs new contract until 2021 (no joke)

I genuinely can’t believe Luke signed a new contract but he has
    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Fantastic news. I know there was talk of trying to get hom to sign one but i honestly didn't expect him to do so. Thoght he'd want to go to Middlesbrough. So if they do come in for him again in January we can demand a bigger fee. Rather he stayed though.

                      MENUBREAKING NEWS

26th November 2018Luke Freeman signs new QPR contract

                      David Scriven @dmscriven Share article:
LUKE Freeman has signed a new contract with QPR – keeping him at Loftus Road until the summer of 2021.

The 26-year-old’s previous deal had 18 months left to run.

Freeman has been a hugely influential figure for Rangers since joining from Bristol City in January 2017, weighing in with 10 goals and many more assists over his 83 appearances in all competitions for us.
This feels like home for me. I love the club, the fans. LUKE FREEMAN Share

Speaking ahead of tomorrow’s (Tuesday) trip to face Rotherham United in the Sky Bet Championship, Freeman told www.qpr.co.uk: “I’m really pleased.

“I’m happy here – I get on really well with all the boys, all the staff. This feels like home for me. I love the club, the fans, and I want to help us progress even more now.” ROTHERHAM V QPR

                      Live UK & Ireland stream
Freeman also reserved special praise for Steve McClaren – appointed QPR boss in the summer – adding: “He was massive in this decision and is probably one of the best managers I’ve played under. The same goes for his staff.

“I think all the boys here would agree with that – and you can see it given the direction that we’re heading in.

“It was a tough start to the season, but kicking on like we have done made this decision even easier for me.”

QPR manager Steve McClaren added: "I am delighted. To tie Luke down to a longer contract is fantastic news for the club and for Luke as well.

"He is one of the players who attracted a lot of interest from a lot of clubs last summer. We resisted that because of what he brings to the team - his goals, his assists, his infectious enthusiasm and his willingness to work." RELATED CONTENT

I reckon he’s still off tbh, maybe not Jan but deffo in the summer. This just gives us the upper hand when clubs come calling again.

Great news though. He always said he was happy, but we’ve heard that before and then they get a better offer !!

I guess us proving we wanted to keep him rather than take the money helped.
