  • Several Players Available for Loans in January

    According to WLS
QPR will listen to loan offers in January for a number of their players, according to West London Sport.

The Championship side will be willing to loan out Sean Goss, Paul Smyth, Osman Kakay, Aramide Oteh, Ilias Chair, Niko Hämäläinen and Giles Phillips for more experience.

Goss, who is 23-years-old, joined QPR from Manchester United in January 2017 but has fallen down the pecking order at Loftus Road. He spent the latter half of last season on loan at Rangers in the Scottish Premier League and looks set to leave again.

Paul Smyth has already played 18 times for QPR’s senior side since signing from Linfield in July 2017. The 21-year-old is also likely to leave on loan for some guaranteed regular action.

Osman Kakay, Aramide Oteh, Ilias Chair, Niko Hämäläinen and Giles Phillips are all highly-rated youngsters at QPR but they are wanting to loan them out for them to get more of a taste of senior football.

QPR started this poorly but have turned it around under former Middlesbrough, England, Newcastle United and Derby County boss Steve McClaren. Their 3-2 win over local rivals Brentford at home on Saturday has left them just two points off the Play-Off places and have their fans dreaming of a promotion push.

The future looks bright with the London club with plenty of youngsters breaking into the first-team over the past year or so. Those mentioned above may get their chance in the near future but will gain some valuable experience should they all get loan deals in the January transfer window.

Just need to ensure we have sufficient back up. Have been fairly fortunate with injuries so far and whilst important that the fringe players have game time; we don’t want to leave ourselves short

I would be ok with a lot of those going out on loan, but obviously not all of them as QPR will need to keep some as back up.

Send em all out on loan with a clause to recall within a certain periods notice if required.

Personally doubt we'd need to recall any of them except for the defenders if we get injuries there are thats the area we are lightest by far.

What an utter waste of time Goss was.

7 day emergency loan only, due to both their keepers being out injured.

God I've been willing him to come good, so well thought of amongst their supporters (Man Utd)
