VAR can't come in soon enough as far as I am concerned. They should introduce it next season without fail.

I disagree. Its decisions like that that do or don't go the right way that adds to the game imo. VAR takes that away and thus takes something away from the game. Hated VAR at the world cup.

The World Cup VAR system was not very good.

The Referee disappearing down the tunnel to look at a monitor is just plain daft and time consuming.

The 4th offical should be watching the game via a monitor in the stand and relaying info to the ref as in Cricket

That way there will be less crap decisions and less time wasted getting the right decision.

agree with most of that, but tbf the ref was diabolical and missed an earlier penalty for Watford and a 2nd yellow for Bertrand, which if converted would have put them 2-1 ahead and playing against 10 men.
