I have a different opinion on Kakay and don't think he will ever be good enough for this level.

I think he’s already ready just needs games. People were saying same about Furlong and Eze aside, he’s best on the books

I wouldn’t call Matt Smith a fringe player, he was our top scorer last season.
I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.

Shame about Smith, he scores goals & saved our bacon last season
                Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Sylla cost 2.9 mil. Out of contract in the summer so won't get much if anything back.

Getting rid of Smith is an admission of our total failure to find width where it matters. If we had that, he's a useful plan B. Short sighted move.

The Smyth & Smith combination was looking really goid at the rail end of last season. Without Smith the need for wingers reduces further. Surely a money decision to balance the books before the end of the accounting year in May.

Big Smith is ineffective unless your playing hoof ball or he’s plan B. He was plan A way to much last season

Disagree mate. He suddenly becomes very effective when played to his strengths - and we all know what that is as it's been discussed on here ad nauseum - play him with wingers who supply crosses from preferably the byline, but wider positions too in the final third.

The problem is the last two managers haven't used wingers, so we've never got the best out of him. Even though he was our top scorer last season with 11, he could have got even more given the right supply.

Agree stan if we’re putting balls in box he’s good but his presence rightly or wrongly leads to defence hitting it long. If we played wingers (have no idea why this manager and previous refuse too) he adds new dimension but we don’t

He is totally immobile and not sure we can afford luxury of player who struggles to run or sprint other then in the box

Agree at the moment but would far rather loan him than sell him. Took Furlong some loan time and patience. Get the impression could be the same with him.

Would be risky getting rid of Smith bearing in mind Hemed and Wells only on loan. Is good option if we play with some width.
