The difference between Freeman and Eze today..... Freeman always running and looking for the ball and wanting to be involved. Eze although beinv played out of position was static, lost and uninterested. Despite being on the right is no reason to not get involved. On Wednesday he was making himself available all the time and running with the ball. Could still have done that from playing on the right and running towards the right hand side of the box. Wszolek would have been a better fit there today. A lesson i hope McLaren has learned from.

Eze is not a wide player and can’t understand why Stevee wants to make him one

Their young full back was probably the best player on the pitch last night, and whilst Eze didn’t do a great job of containing him, he was constantly preoccupied by him. It needed to be changed to 433, so that we could give them something to think about, instead of watching them pass around us at willl.
all said, they actually created very little in terms of chances, and it took a deflection from a very poor cross into a players mid drift for them to get a goal.
Pathetic defending of a free kick and the above goal are the only goals conceded in the past 5 games - gotta be our best defensive record since we got promoted 8 years ago, so let’s be thankful for something and well done to the staff for getting them organised back there.
        onwards and upwards - Urrrs
