I would understand Smyth loan. Won't get playing time here.

I wouldn't as he would have been a great option as a sub yesterday with his pace and direct running.

I was going to say yesterday that we need another midfielder on loan, either a dogged player like Barton or a creative passer. But has to be someone who is confident with the ball. Our midfield three have been too comfortable for too long now with not much threat from anyone taking their places and it's making them too complacent

Agreed.

I am not sure that Luongo is getting up to speed after the World Cup. It;s not as if he played any minutes there and others who did have returned to club football and look fitter and sharper. For he looks like he is either too complacent or disspointed to still be at QPR.

Scowen is tenacious but a bit limited in ability on the ball and QPR could do with someone to support him .
