I just want to see him concentrate on being the opposition's biggest problem not having to fill his head with tackling back and chasing all over the place which is not his game.

He’s a footballer part of being a footballer is tackling. Jesus if he can add tackling to his game he will be some player (complete) and worth more to us

i really don’t get mentality of if your gifted player you can shirk the hard part of the game!!! That’s part of the reason Adel is washed up, because he only wanted to play with the Ball and not graft, let’s not let another talent go same way

question are you happy sides running past him and him trotting back not tackling back because he’s got flair??

West I have to disagree. You should play to players strength, Christ with Luongo and scowen we have enough players to be doing that. I played as a defensive player for over 20 years and the hardest thing in football is to create and score goals. Eze needs to have the shackles removed he is a flair player and if he is too deep then it's going to be a long hard season
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Imo, I think Kakay played quite well for us, given it was his debut. Not sure we can rely on him as our only option at RB, though.

Adel is washed up because he is a lazy fat b'stard who liked a dinner and a Hubble bubble, but didn't want to train. Warnock got into his head - plenty of room no doubt- and what a player. The hard part of the game will soon find Eze, he won't have to go looking for it when he makes defenders look stupid with his quick feet, drag backs etc. I'd play him right up on the worst defender. If he scores or makes goals then that's just as much part of the teamwork as the ugly stuff.

I shall remind you of that next time your having go at Bidwell for putting poor cross in!!!! After all he’s a defender so should not be expected to have attacking side to his game as long as he defends well

we wont agree on this this one Al, I just think we should expect the most from each of our players so simply can’t give free pass to player to avoid one part of the game because he’s good at another side dont sit comfortably

Not much point him making a defender look silly if he then let’s oppositon run past him which leads to a goal.

Glad Akexis Sanchez don’t suffer this I’m an attacking player so won’t do sweet fa going other direction, if he can work hard and track back think we can get Eze in those good habits too when he’s young

well as a general summing up of all the above it now seems that most of you agree we must sell freeman he has been upset by all this interest from other clubs and that will effect his game if we get three million then we can go out and get three good players including a couple of new strikers ,ive always said dont play smith use him as a super sub he will still score the same ten goals a season every season and yes i agree with the poster that eze must play more in the last third of the park not much good doing clever things with the ball in his own half

Don't think he had much to do so didn't think there was much to judge him on. Thought he looked a little uncomfortable and didn't seem to have the natural confidence and positional sense of a specialist RB but maybe that'll come with games.... hopefully he's a quick learner cos we need him to bed in pretty darn quick really. BFG looks like he's confident, vocal and good organisationally so he could have a role in helping Kakay get settled into a solid cohesive back four. Thought that BFG and Lynch were one of the pluses....... seemed to be talking positively to each other and developing a understanding of how to work as a unit, good things developing there hopefully.

I noticed that Kakay at times looked lost, but there is certainly a player in there. He is quite fast, I think - and not afraid of taking on a challenge. But sure I agree with the fact that we need an experienced RB. We need in fact a few new and experienced heads in other positions aswell. I watched this match on QPR + and did also notice that Leistner and Lynch together functioned well. I`m just a bit worried when it comes to pace. Hall used to have it, but he is far from match fitness, and nobody really knows whether he will come back as the player he used to be, especiaily as far as pace is concerned,

Plenty of miss passes, but probably because of nervousness.

The truth is your both right up to a point. Eze will need to be press their defenders and midfielders when they are deep if we don't have or lose the ball. Those brief transitions like Barcelona are masters of.

But you don't want Eze making lung busting defensive runs. Keep him in the areas of the pitch where he can affect the game and that they need to not over commit to keep players back to cover him if we were to counter. He is in no way an Alexis Sanchez type player. He is more an Ozil type. It’s not his nature to or to our or his benefit to alter that

I sit near the biggest set of happy clappers going. They won't hear a word said against Washington, Henry or Mackie types. But loved to moan at Adel and now Eze at times. Football dinosaur mentality in English football. Effort over skill is hard to shake for certain generations

Just read match report on LFW and low and behold what do they pick out that Eze never tracked man out wide who put ball in for their opening goal. There 18 had free run for whole game

Team game guys so EVERYONE has to pull in right direction no passengers, were not good enough for that. Early lesson for the lad let’s hope he is one who learns
