Totally agree Mush, youngsters have come on tremendously, think the only people who think Smithies was one of divisions top keepers was our fan base as can be seen by size of fee (and lack of any other enquiry) and going as backup keeper to a club that over achieved and will more than likely come straight back down. IMO one defender and striker required and still have to end of August for loans
Are you seroius about this? Just a question, not a dig.

Definitely. Think this is proved by NO interest from any club over the years other than the accepted Cardiff bid, and he’s going there as backup. Whilst I agree he was decent, to many rose tinted glasses in respect of how good he was
We’re definately weaker compared to last season from experience perspective in my view and that my concern. Need two or three players in right position for a really good season
It all depends on what the club expect this season,if Les and Tony want or expect a play off challenge then it isn't going to happen (unless major changes happen),if they expect a top half finish they will need to invest but that's unlikely so that leaves finishing outside the relegation places, maybe 19th position, this is achievable with what we have already . Next season will be a tough league, other "mini league" teams have spent big,we have spent nothing and sold out best player so will be relying on the kids ,so avoiding relagation will be the objective.
