While its true that a dead manager may well do a better job than the current incumbemt or his predecessor, I've got to say that SMcC clearly knows his way around the park.
Been listening to him on R5 commenting on games and always nailing it tactically. Him or Da Silva for me.

Back in the real world though we'll doubtless be stuck with more of the same or yet another unproven contender.

Not at all saying I want Ainsworth as our next manager, but does he set up his defence effectively?

The thoughts were that WT will sort out our defence. Letting in 60 goals is shipping nearly 1.25 goals a game

still managed 14 clean sheets this season which is 6th best in league 2 so it's not all that bad. http://www.soccerstats.com/table.asp...england4&tid=f that's the site i've been looking at for the stats

One for the future but Holloway will be manager going into next season I think, but hopefully our owners have the common sense not to extend his current contract for the moment

Big big difference and a big jump from league 2 to top end championship. Not taking anything away from what he's achieved, but let him carry on learning his trade and then maybe 1 day whens he's properly ready, then approach him.
                          SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

even down here the rumour is Ainsworth is to become our new manager
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross

Not convinced by Ainsworth coming in. A lot of people have said that the football we play isn't exciting but Wycombe are long ball merchants. Maybe they have to be because of the level but he is being touted as the new manager, but the style of football would not improve.

Obviously I could be totally wrong but I do not think he would be the fit that many of us romantically want.

I like Ainsworth but let's see how he does in League 1 first.
