I was under the impression it was sorted, if he wanted to stay he would've signed it by now.

It's not looking good so far.

Think he will get offers from teams above us in the pyramid
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

I very much doubt he's going to sign.

Club doing exactly the right thing if true. Certainly not good enough or important enough to risk missing out on players that actually want to be here.

More than likely hasn't got any better offers so club is forcing his hand.

Whatever gave rise to this ultimatum, I love it. Instead of feeling any player has us over the barrel, we say go ahead and do your thing cause we won’t sink or swim because of you. Feels good after all those contracts to all those players who took advantage of us. By the way, thought Tony Fernandes’ Podcast interview last week was bloody awesome. He’s a great guy trying to do great things in building a lasting Hoops legacy.

Totally agree with you regarding players contracts, it’s about time

Ned has obviously got himself a club up North. Jack still got to cross the t's and dot the i's. But both are gone imo
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble

Definitely wouldn't be upset with the new contract. Not sure about Captain though. I'd give that to someone more experienced.
