We will give him a 4 year deal then he will get injured and be out for the first 3 years of the deal.

This is another reason why we should feel he only stays with us if he agrees to our terms. If not, wish him the best hes a good and gutty guy then move on. Encourage management to be resolute here no more caving in to a player over the interests of the team.

I get that but I would personally Captain someone who is the first, if not one of the first names on the team sheet. I mean Baptiste is experienced....

Captaincy almost (not always) makes them undroppable.

If Grant Hall gets fit and comes back the player he was before last seasons injuries then even thought Id like Robbo to stay it will ease the lost.

Halls a class player on his day!!

He's still waiting on Fulham think part of the deal is he goes their if they get promoted? but still think he will leave regardless possibly still to Fulham if not elsewhere, unless we appoint a good manager (and maybe McLaren is enough) to make him want to stay and give it a go next season

With FFP it is not so much now only the top few. There are 199 player in the Championship whose contracts expire this summer.
