to me he has been vital in our great improvement in form. Thought his command of the area , distribution and game craft are remarkable for one so young. Looks like selling Smithies wasn’t the crazy move most thought( and he’s not getting much game time - did we all overestimate his ability?

When I heard Smithies was leaving I was worried, I didn't like what I had seen of Ingram, didn't fill me with confidence and the first few games showed just that. I'm not saying he won't improve but we needed a first team keeper that was better. Lumley has been a breath of fresh air and it feels like he's one of us.

Lumley is doing a fantastic job, so pleased for him and the squad. That mistake at the back yesterday cost us another 2 points. We didn't lose away so I'm really happy.

He went as mad as the fans yesterday when we went one up, leapt about the penalty area facing us, team spirit you just can't buy it.
