Because he was the last manager that I felt optimistic about our future with.

        Dowie was dull.
        Sousa was undermined.
Magilton and Hart were just bad appointments.

Maybe the board felt he was good enough to be left alone to get on with things?

He made a regular goalscorer out of Agyemang. No-one's done that since.
Buzsaky played his best football under him.

We were fun to watch for longer than a month.
We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are...

Just listening to Mick Harford on SSN he sounds really up for it and mentioned disappointment in Hart going, but from the sound of it doesn't really care about him now which to me is good as he can now get on with things in his own way, he even says he knows the club, players and things going on.

            It's all positive to me.

Not sure I could think of any one worse, as has been said would just show that things aren't changing and he would be flavios puppet again, the guy can't even speak english ffs!!!!!!!

Not to mention he is the most overrated manager in the history of QPR! We conceeded bags of goals and finished mid table, just because we had the feel good factor of being taken over, being promised champions league football and not being at the bottom of the table any more we seem to remember him as some sort of hero!

You say 'Only one man on earth would take the manager's job now..
Well that man is Mick Harford, so FFS give him some support.

Briatore responsible for squad selection & tactics.

                    Paladini responsible for transfers.

de Canio responsible for smiling nicely at the fans and taking a handsome wage for doing EXACTLY as he's told.

Because you just know the baffoon in charge wont learn, despite this being the biggest fiasco on football history.
make that 2 step forward GP wouldn't surprise me
