  • James McArthur for £350k

    http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/...rthur-1.997080

It is believed QPR manager Paul Hart will attempt to test Accies’ resolve to keep the former Scotland Under-21 international with a bid of around £350,000.

Very highly rated, would be a very good signing.

We will have to go higher than £350k though, but were QPR, we have to try it

Far more interseted in a signing like this, than any of the current Prem Rejects we seem to be going after.
It's what QPR do, and always have done. Of course they don't always work: Leroy Griffiths, Adam Miller, Christer Warren etc..

But when they do... Bowles, Parker, Parkes, Ferdinand, Masson, Sinclair, Sinton, Rowlands etc..

It's a policy I'd rather see us try far more often.
Wages are lower too, at first.

It's these type of players that we should be aiming at getting, it's what the club needs to start doing again.
We could well unearth a gem here and who knows, we could well sell him on for £10m in a few years

                  Ur'ssssssssssssss

Highly rated youngster but I doubt we'd get him for just 350k nearer 500k and we might get lucky.

This sort of transfer interests me far more than Faye or Quashie.

We will probably let a Prem team sign him and then loan him from them!

Maybe the standard isn't very high, but it is about as good as the CCC. Don't forget QPR lost and drew the pre-season friendlies up there two summers ago.

Also, Graham Dorrans and Charlie Adam are two of the best midfielders in the CCC and they both came from the SPL. Jason Scotland Ross McCormack are two strikers signed from Scottish football clubs and looked very good value in the CCC.

I hope QPR do get to see him play and if he is good, he could be a real bargain at around £350-500K.
